New sheriff in Hattingen: Mayk Sprenger takes over District Service!
Hattingen, Deutschland - in Hattingen there is an exciting change in the district service! Police chief Ulrich Beckmann, the long -time and popular “Sheriff” of Niederwenigern, says goodbye to well -deserved retirement. His successor is the experienced chief police commissioner Mayk Sprenger, who now takes responsibility for the districts of Niederwenigern, Niederbonsfeld and Südstadt. A new sheriff is in the city!
Mayk Sprenger, a 52-year-old family man with two children, brings an impressive career. Since 1995 he has been part of the district police authority Ennepe-Ruhr-Kreis and knows the streets of Hattingen like his pocket. Until September 1, 2024, he was regularly active in the patrol service and is now looking forward to his new challenges as a district officer. He is ready to bring a breath of fresh air to the police work!

Sprenger is supported by a committed team who takes care of the security in Hattingen. Other police forces include:
