Federal Ministry of the Interior plans to reduce the deadline for election proposals!

Berlin - Submit in political Berlin! The Federal Ministry of the Interior stirs the advertising drum for a new regulation that could drastically shorten the deadlines for the submission of state lists and district election proposals. A spokesman confirmed that the preparations are already in full swing. But the crucial question remains: When will Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier set the election day? Because without this appointment the regulation cannot enter into force!

The deadlines are crucial! The state lists must be submitted to the responsible state election manager until the 69th day before the election. Small parties that have not been represented in the Bundestag or a state parliament since the last election faces a special challenge: their lists must be personally signed by 0.1 percent of voters, but a maximum of 2,000 people. A hard struggle for every voice!

The small parties under pressure

But not only the deadlines are a hot topic! With a possible dissolution of the Bundestag, the ministry has no way to facilitate the requirements for the support signatures for the so -called small parties. The value union, led by Hans-Georg Maassen, is one of these parties that prepare for the upcoming elections. The clock ticks and the political actors have to act quickly to secure their voices!
