Autograph collector warns: the manuscript dies in the selfie age!

Göttingen, Deutschland - In Göttingen, the passion of the autograph collector is bubbling, but a shadow is above this once glamorous world! Christian Bach, the 44-year-old chairman of the club collector's club, sounds alarm: "The autograph dies!" The reasons? Modern time and its seductive selfies! These have expired the autographs of the younger generation of "100 %", as Bach announced by the German Press Agency. A painful loss for all collectors!

The media landscape has changed radically. Social networks and messengers like WhatsApp have brought interest in the manuscript almost to a standstill. "I think the interest in the manuscript is lost," explains Bach. Where fans used to leaf through countless photo albums, they look at the cell phone every few minutes today to see the latest pictures. A clear trend that pushes the autograph hunters into the defensive!

a collector with heart

Despite these challenges, Bach remains true to his passion. He has impressive 10,000 autographs that he proudly guards. He received his first autograph in 1993 by post from soccer world champion Pierre Littbarski. But he, too, cannot escape the influence of the selfies: "I collect photos of my encounters with stars, but rather as an recording of a third party. You usually look stupid on a selfie." A clear call to all collectors to preserve the tradition of the autograph while the world is changing around them!
