Tosca returns: Boris Statsenko again on stage in Düsseldorf!
Duisburg, Deutschland - Puccini's opera "Tosca" becomes from 16. January 2025 listed in the Düsseldorf opera house. This staging, which comes from Dietrich W. Hilsdorf and celebrated its premiere in 2002, is one of the crowd favorites. The work of péter Halász is managed musically, while Boris Statsenko plays the role of scarpia in four ideas. The opera relies on the dramatic history in the context of the work, which plays in Rome in the year 1800 : Angelotti, a political prisoner, flees from the Engelsburg and is looking for refuge in the Sant ’Andrea Della Valle, where Cavaradossi discovers him.
