The technical group of the technical aid agency (THW) from Essen reported that there were no more coherent oil surfaces in the Hullner reservoir. It is estimated that impressive 80 percent of the heating oil were successfully absorbed by the oil towels. Thanks to these quick and effective measures, the spread of the dangerous oil film could be contained in the best possible way!
