New Caritas dormitory in Nordkirchen: a home for 24 people!

Lenhausenweg, 59394 Nordkirchen, Deutschland - A milestone for Nordkirchen! In the city of Nordkirchen, a revolutionary residential building for people with disabilities is being built! The Caritas project on Lenhausenweg will offer 24 people a new home and is supported with generous support from the Social Foundation NRW. This financial backing of 73,000 euros was officially handed over by Marco Schmitz, the chairman of the foundation. Sobering grievances in the care of people with disabilities could finally be removed!

The new barrier -free residential building will not only provide the latest living spaces, but also much more. Four residential groups, each with six places and their own bathroom, should create a safe and comfortable environment. The overhead leaves also missionary rooms for day -structuring measures to enable residents a fulfilled daily design. This initiative could significantly improve the life of those affected and open up completely new perspectives!

Futuristic care options!

The funding enables the purchase of necessary furniture, kitchens and nursing average, including a ceiling lifter system that makes care easier and more secure for residents and nurses. Christian Germing, board member of the Caritas Association, emphasizes how important this support is for the entire facility. An end of the waiting times and a departure to a new era of care are imminent, because the new house is expected to be completed at the end of this year and is to be obtained in January 2025!

The Social Foundation NRW has supported over 8,000 projects since its foundation in 1974 and looks back on an impressive support history of one billion euros. With this latest project in Nordkirchen, it is once more evident how important social responsibility and improvement in the quality of life are for people with disabilities!
