Would you like sustainability? Association Vamos is looking for a partner in the district of Coesfeld!
The Vamos Association from Münster raises its commitment to sustainable development to a new level by looking for new partnerships in the district of Coesfeld and the surrounding region. This initiative comes after a number of hands -on stations that give people tips on how to make their lives more sustainable. Under the direction of Tore Süßenguth, the club has now announced an exciting project.
For the years 2025 and 2026, Vamos plans so-called "change & acting day". These campaign days want to offer a platform on which cities, municipalities, companies and initiatives from the Coesfeld district can present their work on topics such as sustainability and global justice. The goal is to create a broader awareness of these important topics and to encourage the community for active participation.
variety of hands -on stations
Already now there are exciting hands -on stations in the Coesfeld district, which bring various aspects of sustainability closer to visitors. In the Höven farm, between Coesfeld and Rosendahl, interested parties can learn how to use biorest. In addition, the Tilbeck Abbey in Havixbeck presents the topic of fair flower trade, which directs the focus on the ethical aspects of the flower market. In Billerbeck, fair textile trade is informed, while the focus is on the energy transition in Coesfeld. These stations are not only instructive, but also offer practical tips for everyday life.
In order to be able to participate in the campaign days, interested groups and initiatives are invited to report to the Vamos association and present their projects. The commitment of the citizens is crucial to make a sustainable change in the region. Interested parties receive further information about the project and the existing hands -on stations.
The aim of this initiative is to gain a broader basis for cooperation partners who actively deal with questions of sustainability. Vamos thus makes an important contribution to the creation of a fairer and more environmentally friendly living environment in the region.
