The focus: Coembo inspires with interactive stands!
Billerbeck, Deutschland - An exciting spectacle for the choice of career took place in Coesfeld! The Coembo fair attracts numerous visitors who can find out more about various apprenticeships and actively participate. Marlen Amshoff from a Billerbeck construction company emphasizes how easy it is to talk to those interested. "Everyone can think of something about their craft," confirms Konrad Frankemölle, who is proud of the variety of stands.
Visitors can not only test their skills in the cafeteria, but also in the tent in front of the community hall. At Trapo you can work with a metal file on a figure, while you can bend your own metal iPad stand at Thies textile machines. A highlight is the Scholz autoclave, which looks like a mini submarine. But the true star of the event is the robot Pepper, who inspires the crowd with his singing and dance and provides information about various apprenticeships. "He provides information about several apprenticeships and can also sing and dance," explains Michaela Temming from Volksbank Nottuln.
interactive experiences and exciting lectures
The Bundeswehr provides action on stage by challenging visitors how many pushups can create them with a 15 kg backpack. Many try it out, but at 15 it is already over for many. Nearby two boys sit in the Agricultural machinery simulator of Planet and experience up close as to what it is like to be an agricultural machinery driver. Robert Taurewald and his family are enthusiastic about the possibilities that the fair offers. His son Leonard dreams of becoming a train driver while his brother Joshua admired the functions of a modern truck.
The universities are also strongly represented and attract many interested parties. "We have to do continuously," reports Laura Klis from the HOCHSCHOOL SAXION. Many think about studying in Holland because Enschede is only a stone's throw away. The exhibitors also take the opportunity to make contacts and exchange ideas. There are also many lectures on topics such as training and gap years that arouse great interest for younger visitors. "Some even ask about 13 or 14," Anna Bolle observed. The youth therefore show that she is working early on in her professional future!
