Looking for creative minds: Diorama workshop for children in Vreden!

An exciting creative adventure awaits the little artists! On Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 2 p.m., the cult of Westmünsterland in Vreden opens its doors for the workshop "Diorama in the shoe box". Here children aged 8 and over have the opportunity to create their own fantastic worlds, in the style of the famous Diorama artist Oliver Schaffer. With simple shoe boxes and a pinch of imagination, the young participants can stage exciting stories!

Participation in this two -hour workshop is free, but the places are limited to 10 children! Therefore, a prior registration with the cult on 02861/681-1415 is essential. The event is part of the accompanying program for the special exhibition "Playmobil - Typical Westmünsterland", which can currently be seen in the cult. Here are impressive 5,000 figures and over 20,000 other parts that let visitors immerse yourself in the fascinating world of Playmobil.

In this workshop, the children are not only spectators, but also active designers! You can bring your own Playmobil figures and design your shoebox dioramas to your heart's content. In the end, you can take your works of art home with you and continue to play with it. The special exhibition "Playmobil - Typical Westmünsterland" can be visited during the regular opening times of the cult, Tuesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Entry costs four euros for adults, while children and adolescents up to 17 years are allowed in free of charge.
