Borken, Deutschland - Borken - An exciting chapter in employment has started in the Borken district! At the beginning of the year, North Rhine-Westphalia, together with the 18 job centers, started a huge offensive to integrate long-term unemployed people into the labor market. The focus of the mediation offensive is in particular people with a escape background. This group has already visited integration courses, but is often still fighting with language barriers. That is why special programs are offered to improve your language skills and make it easier for you to get started with your professional life. 58 integration courses are currently active in the district, and over 1,300 long -term unemployed people have participated. The demand for professional language support also increases with around 200 participants in the relevant offers.

The offensive not only aims at improving language skills, but also on the direct connection between employers and potential new employees. Various event formats such as company visits and information days have already taken place to actively involve employers in the mediation. This has shown its effect: Out of 11,900 performance -priced performance -priced in the district, 1,490 people were able to switch to employment subject to social security contributions - this corresponds to an impressive integration rate of 12.4 percent, which is above the national average of 11.3 percent.
Particularly noteworthy: From the special focus group, which is supervised more intensively, 298 people have already found a job, which means an integration rate of 29 percent. Nevertheless, a challenge remains: Around 35 percent of the focus group cannot currently be integrated, mainly due to inadequate language skills. In order to further promote the offensive, the Borken district is planning the new marketing campaign "Simply Clever" to address employers even more specifically and to promote cooperation.
