Borken celebrates Halloween: Grusel, fun and shopping in the city!

Borken, Deutschland - Spooky and fun in Borken! Every year the city became Halloween hotspot last Friday in October, and in 2024 there was no exception! Bahnhofstrasse turned into an eerily beautiful festival for all of Borken, where small ghosts and large witches were happy and the retailers dipped into the world of the creepy with their customers.

On October 31 - the most famous of all scary days - visitors not only expect scary costumes, but also a colorful supporting program. From the Celtic tradition of Samhain, the goals for the other world open that evening - at least in the shops that invite you to shop in bright and at the same time creepy outfits. Everywhere, tempting Halloween bargains and creative stands of local clubs waved, which not only stimulated the senses with their offers, but also pointed out for good purposes.

The city blooms in the Halloween hustle and bustle

In Borken, it is not only bought, there is a party here! The streets lined numerous artists, including the rousing Samba drummer from Semper Samba and the versatile Steffen Koch. The band Sound of Music was also at the start, while Peter Staab fueled the mood. The festival shone in colorful lights, and a Baunatal company provided an unforgettable backdrop with impressive lighting.

But the action was not only on the shopping street. The coal & energy theme park became the scene of a fantastic Halloween celebration! Fantiliads from all over the world-from Harry Potter magicians to Yedi knights-mingled with the more traditional Halloween figures. Charitative on the way was the group of Vision Troopers from Kassel and distributed a good mood instead of fright. The park experienced a colorful evening with lots of attractions, from playfulness games to the eerie course and even a railway ride, which was possible again thanks to successful track repairs. The 87-year-old Adi Geis delighted in his miner uniform and impressively demonstrated that Halloween is also great fun even in old age!
