On Saturday evening, November 9, 2024, a serious traffic accident occurred on the L 182 between Swisttal-Heimerzheim and Swisttal-Straßfeld, which seriously injured a 45-year-old driver! The suspected cause of chaos fled from the scene of the accident immediately. At 6:55 p.m. a tractor was on the L 182 towards Euskirchen when a black Mercedes overtook despite visible oncoming traffic and classified himself directly behind the tractor. This meant that a subsequent 37-year-old driver had to brake abruptly!

The BMW driver who was traveling in the opposite direction tried to avoid a collision by unlocking to the right. The 45-year-old lost control of her vehicle and raced onto the oncoming lane, where she first collided with the rear of a Seat and then frontally with the car of a 55-year-old woman. The scene was terrifying! The 45-year-old was transported to a clinic with considerable injuries, while the 55-year-old suffered minor injuries. Fortunately, all other participants were not injured!

The fleeting Mercedes driver, who is apparently between 25 and 35 years old, described with short black hair and a three -day beard, continued his journey unmoved after overtaking the tractor. The attentive 37-year-old who drove behind him confronted him and he pretended to want to return to the scene of the accident, but simply continued towards Euskirchen. His black Mercedes is said to have tinted rear slices and a Kosovar license plate, possibly with the number combination "0103" or a similar arrangement.
