New in the Bundestag battle: BSW sends strong candidates into the race!
Sindelfingen, Deutschland - On December 22, 2024, the Alliance Sahra Wagenknecht (BSW) in Stuttgart set up its state list for the upcoming federal elections. At the top of the list is Jessica Tatti, who was chosen with impressive 98.1 percent of the vote. At their side, Manfred Hentz and Ralph are Tuciken, followed by Richard Pitterle. The billionaire suicide, which is committed to wealth for higher taxes, underlines the party's economic policy ambitions and its attitude for a fairer tax system. These decisions were made during the general meeting of the BSW, which increasingly established itself as a serious political force, such as Zeit.de
The BSW, a recently founded party that was only launched in January 2024, has already had initial success in elections in various federal states. In Thuringia in particular, the BSW has formed a coalition with the CDU and SPD and is now also aiming at the federal level. The name of the party is also a program because Sahra Wagenknecht acts as a candidate for chancellor, even if the realistic opportunities for a Kanzlerplatz are considered low. Nevertheless, the party leader delivered clear announcements: "We want to grow slowly and controlled in order not to endanger the project," she explained during the election campaign, as Deutschlandfunk
Wagenknecht has a strong support that is reflected in surveys - it is one of the ten most important politicians in Germany. For the Bundestag election, which is to take place on February 23, 2025, the BSW is expected that despite its current starting point, the visibility and the already collected 6.4 million euros can fall back from large donations. The BSW will focus on a program that includes social justice, peace policy and economic reforms. The first election program will also be decided on January 12, 2025 at the federal party conference in Bonn. Despite the challenges, the alliance remains optimistic and aims to actively shape the political spectrum in Germany.
