Around 10:30 a.m., the men entered a residential building on Ümminger Straße to immediately steal a jewelry box. He reached the phone at lightning speed and alerted the police with an emergency call!

The police could not be asked for long. Just a little later, the perpetrator's escape car was stopped and checked on the A448 in the direction of Essen by the Dortmund motorway police. The surprise was great when the officials discovered the stolen jewelry box in the vehicle - clear proof of the brazen burglary. The four suspects - two from Bochum, one from Marl and another without a permanent residence - were arrested by the police and are now the focus of the investigation.
