On Friday evening, November 15th, the downtown Gütersloh became an intensive control stage! Under the project "Safe Downtown", the Gütersloh police, the main customs office in Bielefeld and the food surveillance, carried out extensive operations in bars, restaurants and kiosks. Between 7 p.m. and 1 a.m. eight restaurants were put through their paces - and what the inspectors found was terrifying!

In a snack in the north of Gütersloh, an administrative offense procedure was opened. The emergency output signage was not properly installed, and hygiene left a lot to be desired! A follow -up is imminent! But that was not all: In a bar in the city center, the officers caught several people in the illegal gambling. Not only the people were searched in lightning -fast access, but also numerous gambling engines and a four -digit cash amount!

At 10:10 p.m. there was another incident that strained the nerves of the police officers! A van noticed because the sliding doors were open during the trip. The control suddenly slipped into a chaos: a 19-year-old Gütersloher exposed his aggression, insulted the police officers and defended himself against the arrest. But that's not all! An 18-year-old accomplice jumped on the back of a police officer to thwart the bondage. Both men were finally tied up and taken into custody - investigations against them are already on the way!

Furthermore, an unvited employee was discovered in another snack, while another man with an arrest warrant was found on site. Here, too, the immediate payment of money for exemption from the arrest warrant should be made. At the end of the mission, shortly after midnight, the location at a restaurant in the city center was not better: the owner could not legitimize himself, and here too there were defects in the slot machines. Another administrative offense procedure!
