The 34-year-old again caused a sensation at the World Cup in Lillehammer and reported back on the podium with an impressive second place. In strong snowfall and challenging conditions, Paschke demonstrated nerve strength and secured the title as the best athlete of the German men's team. The victory went to the Austrian Jan Hörl, while his compatriot Daniel Tschofenig took third place.
Paschke's teammate Andreas Wellinger, who shone second in the four -hill tour and third in the overall World Cup last season, also showed a strong performance and ended up in seventh place.
