Wilhelmshaven, Deutschland - The Jade-Weser-Port in Wilhelmshaven has landed an exciting new partner! The subsidiary of the Ningbo Zhushan Port Group, which has established itself as the largest port in the world, has rented a huge logistics area in the heart of the port. This partnership could change the international trade landscape sustainably!

With the rental agreement for an impressive area of 31,700 square meters in the new P3 logistics center, Zhejiang Seaport sets a strong sign of the strategic importance of Germany's only container deep water port. Marc-Oliver Hauswald, managing director of the container Terminal Wilhelmshaven Jade-Weser-Port-Marketing Society, emphasizes the growing role of Jade-Weser-Port as a central turntable in international trade. "We congratulate P3 Logistic Parks on this milestone," says Hauswald, emphasizing that this step not only creates jobs, but also strengthens Germany's position in global goods.

Chinese expansion in view

ZHEJIANG SEAPORT plans to further expand its presence in the Jade-Weser port as part of the “Neue Seidenstraße”. The goal? To significantly increase the goods traffic between China and Europe and to consolidate economic relationships in the long term. With this partnership, the Jade-Weser-Port is marketed as "Sister Port", which positions it at eye level with global heavyweights such as Ningbo Zhushan, Antwerp and Houston.

Hauswald is optimistic: "Our Chinese partners are pursuing a long-term strategy and see the enormous potential of Jade-Weser-Port to develop into the leading European transshipment point for Asian goods." The Zhejiang Seaport Group, which operates more than 310 companies, specializes in shipping, port operations and the processing of mass goods.
