Creative cellar inspires at the Maus-Tür open day in Wilhelmshaven!

On October 3rd, the now known "Maus-Tür open day" took place in the "creative cellar" on Admiral-Klatt-Straße. This campaign, which was launched by ARD and WDR, made it possible to take a look behind the scenes of the creative workshops. Over 100 guests came to explore the different offers of the "creative cellar". It was the first participation of the association in this popular event, and the response was consistently positive.

"The mood was overwhelming," says Enno Kampmann, the chairman of the "creative cellar". "Our guests were in a good mood and we even had visitors who took a long way. A couple with a child from Nordenham are particularly highly lifted because they were very interested in our work." This enthusiasm testifies to the high interest that aroused the facility with the guests.

diverse creative offers

The demonstrations in the workshops were very varied. In the textile workshop, the children were able to experience how a 3D printer life is breathed in. At the same time, two laser engraveders were used to design creative objects. A highlight was the opportunity for the children to design individual keychain that they could take home as a souvenir.

In the metal workshop, visitors were able to get to know the basics of industrial 3D production with a professional CAD program. The wood workshop was also in great demand. A total of 16 children took part in two already booked courses. Under patient guidance you could build your own folding stools for free. "The individual parts had been tailored, drilled and milled in the process of preparatory work," said Kampmann. "The children then took over sanding and assembly and were concentrated and motivated."

The event was not only an experience for the creative minds, but also an opportunity to fortify yourself. A member of the club prepared a delicious buffet in the night work that was very well received by the visitors. "There was something for every taste and it was carried out vigorously," Kampmann praises the preparations.

The first participation of the "creative winery" on the "Maus-Tür open day" was a successful premiere that not only promoted the joy of creativity and craftsmanship, but also strengthened togetherness in the community.
