Barghorn, Deutschland - The construction work on the B211 near Barghorn absorbs speed! The first part of the new bridge over the Barghorner Zuggraben has now been completed, and this means that there are new changes in traffic that will affect commuters and drivers in the region. The Lower Saxony Road Authority has announced the good news that the bridge's lane ceiling has already been applied. But that's just the beginning!

From Monday, November 4, the traffic routing will be passed on on federal road 211! The yellow markings are applied to the street and the construction site wall is moved to steer the traffic from and in the direction of Brake to the other side of the street. But be careful! The connections to the Grantchaussee and Barghorner Straße will continue to be restricted. Motorists who drive towards Brake can turn to Moorriem, but turn left into Barghorner Straße (towards Mentzhausen) will no longer be possible. The road users from Brake also have to change: they can turn to Moorriem, but a turn to the right towards Mentzhausen is not allowed!

The situation becomes even more complicated for drivers from Moorriem who want to drive towards Oldenburg or Brake; Continue to continue straight ahead is no longer possible. Coming from Mentzhausen may only be turned right towards Oldenburg - turn left towards Brake is taboo! The installation of traffic is necessary so that the next construction work can start. The first demolition work, including milling work and the breakdown of railings, begins on Wednesday.

The state authority has followed its schedule and the first construction phases have remained in the time frame. But drivers should prepare for further disabilities at the Barghorner intersection, because the work should not be completed until autumn 2025. The two bridge parts from 1900 and 1969 were replaced and widened to defuse the intersection, which was long considered the focus of the accident. A traffic light system and a wider road should increase security. The anticipation for completion is increasing!
