The fastest driver, a 57-year-old from Berne, was measured on Landesstraße 865 with an incredible 136 km/h, where only 70 km/h are allowed! He threatens a two -month driving ban and a juicy fine of 600 euros. But that's not all!
A 27-year-old Hamburger, who was on the federal road 211 in Ovelgönne-Strückhausen at 115 km/h instead of the permitted 70, had another problem: he showed signs of influence by drugs. A test confirmed the suspicion of cocaine consumption and the police had a blood sample from him. His onward journey was immediately prohibited!
The police warn: excessive speed is one of the main causes of fatal traffic accidents. In order to ensure the safety of all road users, the controls in the entire region continue. The message is clear: lawn has consequences!
