Robbery in Hambergen: 21-year-old in court!
Wesermünder Straße, 27729 Hambergen, Deutschland - A dramatic attack on a petrol station in Hambergen causes excitement! On the first Friday in July, just a week after a first attack with a folding knife, a 21-year-old dared a second attempt-this time with a gas pistol in his hand. But this attack went anything but lightly for the alleged perpetrator, who initially escaped with a prey, but was caught on the same day after a wild chase. Now he stands in front of the Verden district court and has to answer for particularly severe predatory extortion.
Already at the beginning of the process it became apparent that the six trial dates that may not be necessary would not be necessary. The accused, who was brought to the Hameln youth center after he was arrested, conferred the deeds comprehensively. He cited lack of money as a motive, reinforced by his drug use, which flared up again after a phase of abstinence. On June 29, at 4:30 p.m. he entered the petrol station's kiosk, masked and armed with a knife, and asked for cash from the 18-year-old cashier under threat. This immediately gave him around 270 euros and cigarettes worth 60 euros before he fled.
Second attack with gas pistol
The second attack on July 5 was less successful. Armed with an uncharged gas pistol, the perpetrator captured around 140 euros and a large amount of cigarettes worth over 700 euros. Stamps and vouchers also landed in his pocket. The 18-year-old, who appeared as a witness in the first attack, described her fears and the consequences of the raid. The defendant was repentant and apologized to her. Now a psychiatric expert will clarify whether he was guilty at the time of the acts.
