The old fire station in Achim is experiencing a spectacular rebirth! The Bremen couple Arzu and Soner Aykut has the mission to breathe new life into this historic building and in November it should start with a restaurant and an event agency. After a frustrating vacancy of almost two years, the anticipation in the pedestrian zone is tangible! As an operator, the Aykuts bring a fresh wind into the gastronomic landscape and rely on the concept of the combination of restaurant operations and diverse events.

The history of origin is fascinating: Arzu Aykut, which is behind the successful wedding and event agency "Taubentraum", will and her team will create creative events and unforgettable celebrations on the upper floor of the old fire station. This promising step is personally greeted by Mayor Rainer Ditzfeld, who praises the passion and international experience of the new team. "The gastronomic gem will return and that is a reason to be happy," said Ditzfeld enthusiastically.

Culinary diversity with international accents

Soner Aykut, a cook with an impressive career, is now in a hurry to serve the guests authentic "German cuisine with international accents". He, who conjured up in the world of five-star hotels, promises to enrich the menu with edible memories from his travels-an incomparable taste experience that the Achimers can look forward to! The drinks are perfectly coordinated in the context of a strategic exchange with the Achim beverage gross dealer Ahlers.

But that's just the beginning! The upper floors set new standards for events of all kinds, with space for celebrations, conferences and workshops. "We can now make optimal use of the event area," said Aykut, who also emphasized that a play area is planned for the little guests. An opening "at the latest in December" is the goal, so that the old fire station is available for the guests on time for Christmas and New Year's Eve.
