Uelzen enthusiastic: Two golden dolphins for creative film minitiative!

A touch of fame blows through Uelzen! Today two “golden dolphins” were presented in the district house. District Administrator Dr. Heiko Blume for the impressive short film series "Bi Us Up’n Land", which was awarded as part of the renowned 15th Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards. With a joyful smile, Blume emphasized: "These prices are a great appreciation of our work, which with a wink presents the advantages of life and work in Uelzen!"

The prices were presented by Kai Tenzer, the managing director of the communication agency Cyrano. With a lot of creativity and a refreshingly self -ironic note, Blume and his team had created a completely new access to search for skilled workers. Tenzer enthused: "We achieved fantastic recognition in Cannes! These awards prove that we hit the right nerve with our unique concept." And they are not only air locks-over 800 submissions from 46 countries competed, and only the top 154 productions were able to secure the highly coveted dolphin trophies.

The Uelzen district shines in the categories "Human Resources" and "Webisodes". The quality of the Uelzener short films was praised by an internationally occupied jury, consisting of almost 100 experts. Competitors such as Vodafone and the University Hospital Tübingen were strong, but Uelzen managed to assert themselves! Blume and his team can look back on a great performance that arouses interest in the region and its employers.

The award ceremony took place during a network evening of the skilled worker initiative, in which regional employers took part. "When I first heard about the two dolphins, I thought of a waterfall in the foyer," joked the district administrator. The commitment and the creative cooperation of all those involved earn highest recognition. The initiative will be further developed to draw even more attention to the region.
