Seevetal. Hamburger Straße in Maschen is now impassable! The reason is massive fiber optic work that leads to a dramatic full closure. Drivers have to adjust to a longer detour and avoid traffic in the region.

After a strenuous construction phase around the stitches of the A39 motorway, which has only recently been completed, the next traffic disability is just around the corner! Hamburger Straße between Schulstraße and Winsener Straße has been completely closed since Wednesday. This drastic measure will continue until November 8, unless the construction work is ended earlier. The residents and commuters have to adapt to considerable restrictions.

The Kraftverkehrsgesellschaft Stade (KVG) has already reacted! The affected HVV bus lines-including the lines 248, 343, 347, 647, 4632 and 4661-can no longer operate the “Maschnor, Hamburger Straße”, “Micken, Eichenallee” and “Messen, Kohlhöfen” until at least Tuesday, November 5. Security has top priority, so it was decided to keep bus traffic out of the danger area.

However, alternatives are available for passengers! The stops "mesh, Ellernbüsche", "mesh, in the stucco" and "meshes, Seevestraße" are now the new starting points. Most replacement stops are located along the school road.
