MoorExpress: The Christmas magic starts in Worpswede!

On Saturday, November 23, there is an exciting way to get in the mood for the festival: the historic Moorexpress drives through the breathtaking landscape of the Geest and the Teufelsmoor. This picturesque railway line, one of the most beautiful in northern Germany, brings the travelers from Stade from Bremervörde and Gnarrenburg directly to the traditional artisan market in Worpswede.

The arrival in Worpswede is an experience in itself! At 10:42 a.m., guests are warmly welcomed at the train station and led to the town hall. Here, where the pre -Christmas mood has been found since 1989, around 40 talented craftsmen and designers from all over Germany present their unique, handmade works of art. From exquisite textiles to artistic paperwork to sparkling jewelry and the finest wooden trade - the selection is overwhelming!

The ride on the MoorExpress starts in Stade at 9:17 a.m. and takes the guests to Worpswede on time at 10:42 a.m. The return trip is planned for 5:02 p.m. so that travelers are back in Stade at 6:27 p.m. Tickets for this unforgettable experience cost 65 euros for adults and 60 euros for children.
