Heeßen: Mayor demands 50th 50 after eleven accidents on Bückeburger Straße!

Heeßen. The mayor of the municipality of Heeßen, Frank Harmening is stunned! In just four years, it crashed eleven times on the notorious Bückeburger Straße, and yet the road traffic authority in the district of Schaumburg sees no need for action. The accidents are "inconspicuous", according to the authority - because they never followed the same pattern. A completely incomprehensible condition for the community!

Harmening had made an application to lower the speed limit from 70 to 50 km/h. The dangerous area where the street in the Wiesengrund meets the busy Bückeburger Straße is difficult to see and especially overloaded during peak times. The existing regulation appears absurdly, especially on the fact that speed 50 already applies on Bückeburger Straße from the net market.

Do you have to happen even more?

"That can only be a shield citizens' prank!" Scolds Harmening about the contradictory speed limits. He calls for a uniform regulation of km / h in both directions. Four accidents in eleven years are an alarming signal for him. Is that really hardly worrying?

The road traffic authority has rejected the application for tempo reduction on the grounds that 85 percent of the vehicles only drive slightly above the speed limit of 50 km/h and the speed is even below it. There is also a pedestrian traffic light that should enable students to cross Bückeburger Strasse safely. But Harmening is not satisfied with this answer: the community stays on the ball and wants the green town wise table to be converted into a yellow local board to put the speed limit at 50 km/h. The response from the district administration is still pending, but the discussion is by no means complete!
