TSV Landolfshausen shocked Northeim 4-1 in the district cup!
Landolfshausen. A top-class football festival! The TSV Landolfshausen/Seulingen caused a sensation in the round of 16 of the football district cup by having bowled the higher-class FC Eintracht Northeim with an impressive 4: 1 (1: 0) from the competition. The outsider, who plays in the district league, showed in the bumpy place that surprises are possible here, and the audience was enthusiastic about the courageous performance of the home side.
Already in the first half there was no class difference. Eintracht trainer Philipp Weißenborn was optimistic, but the hosts were not impressed. In the 16th minute there was a curious penalty for the TSV after the ball jumped unhappily on the hand of Tadej Semenic. But the chance was taken when Steven Celik put the penalty on the post. Nevertheless, the Landolfshausenern managed to take the lead in the 33rd minute by Hendrik Ziegner - a brilliant shot after a clever pass from Jannik Meck.
TSV La/SEU shows incredible effectiveness
The second half was a true firework of the hosts! They showed impressive effectiveness within just ten minutes. Kevin Gellert, who was just substituted, increased to 2-0 in the 50th minute, followed by a goal by Justin Ramon Pohl in the 57th minute - and suddenly it was 3-0! Captain Tim Krellmann put the crown on the spectacle in the 60th minute and headed to 4: 0. FC Northeim was shocked and only found the way to the goal in the 64th minute by Ali Ismail with a lifter, but there was no catch -up. The passionate defense of Landolfshausen gave the guests no chance.
Eintracht Northeim, once a favorite, now has to digest the bitter defeat, while TSV Landolfshausen/Seulingen cheered and is looking forward to the next round in the cup. An exciting evening that will go into the history of the club!
