An incident on Autobahn 7 between real and Seesen caused excitement on Sunday morning. The fire brigade from Kalefeld was alerted at 9:09 a.m. after a rescue transport car was reported with engine damage. When the emergency services arrived, smoke and fire were visible in the engine compartment a minute later. There was a patient on board the vehicle, which made the Situation more difficult.

The crew of the ambulance acted quickly and precisely. She secured the patient who was on a stretcher and brought her to safety. An emergency doctor was also on site and supported the rescue measures. The flames could be successfully deleted with a powder extinguisher so that worse things were prevented.

A total of 25 forces from the fire brigades from real and Kalefeld as well as other rescue units of the Northeim and Goslar counties were deployed. The motorway police was also on the spot. Fortunately, there were no injuries, which shows the quick and effective work of the rescue and emergency services.
