YouTube star Janko dares crazy bear adventure in Bosnia!
The YouTube star Janko (22), who is called Stefan Janković with a bourgeois name, experiences an exciting and at the same time dangerous adventure in Bosnia. Known for his risky videos, Janko wanted to offer his 1.4 million followers something very special: an experiment in which he crawled into a bear cave. The thrill was inevitable because a curious bear was waiting in the entrance area of the cave. When Janko finally came out of the cave, he was immediately sniffed by the animal, which caused a lot of excitement.
The scenario took place on the Ozren mountain, about two hours north of Sarajevo. There Janko met Petar Tubic, the operator of a local parag leader club who made the area a tourist attraction. In his area, in addition to a bear enclosure, it also offers a farm with deer, donkeys and peacocks. Tubic speaks of the bears Masha and Ljubica, who both grew up in difficult situations and therefore did not survive alone in the wilderness.
a risky undertaking
Janko had planned to get to know the two bears better. Masha is five and a half and Ljubica four years old. Tubic said the two bears had learned an unassailable handling as long as the people of their surroundings behave calmly and respectfully. Nevertheless, it quickly turned out that the animals appreciated a lot of space and their privacy, which became clear through their thrusts and bumps.
tubic led Janko to a cave that had dug several meters deep, which the bears had dug themselves. During the entire process, both Tubic and Janko were constantly on the hat because the situation could change at any time. In the video, Tubic noticed the risks and emphasized that this contact with wild animals in Europe was otherwise hardly possible. However, he admitted not to have the necessary specialist knowledge about bears, which is questionable at such an encounter.
However, there were also several dangerous moments when Masha and Ljubica grabbed Janko or even missed blows. Despite these risks, the Janko experiment seemed to be a complete success: his contemporary posts on Instagram have already achieved over 80 million clicks. The fact that such an event is adding an intensive discussion is not surprising. Many spectators wonder whether such behavior towards wild animals is ethically justifiable. Janko himself describes his project as a "craziest clip from the Balkans", but the question remains: How safe is it to film animals in speculative situations? The boundaries between entertainment and protection of species blur dangerously.
