Noah Buske: With a mask to victory? Holzminden fights for second place!

Holzminden. The 25-year-old Noah Buske from SV 06 Holzminden is ready for the highly expected duel against the SCM Bodenwerder! On Sunday at 3 p.m. it is all about everything - a victory would secure second place! Despite his injury problems, which even forced him to play with a mask, Buske remains optimistic. "We go into every game with the aim of winning it and having fun," explains the midfielder.

The last meeting of the two teams ended a month ago with a dramatic 5: 3 victory for Holzminden after a gripping penalty shootout in the district cup. "Bodenwerder is a technically strong team. I expect another exciting game with many good actions on both sides," said Buske. With four wins from the last four games, the team has worked up in the table and now wants to aim for promotion to the district league, even if the competition is strong.

The role of the experienced player

In a young team, Buske is one of the oldest players at the age of 25. He sees himself as a responsibility to support the talented offspring. "I try to help the young players. It is a lot of fun playing in this team," he says. His experience is particularly valuable because he already knows some players from the youth.

Buske has an eventful past: After a broken nose in the first game of the season against Bodenwerder, he had to pause for two months. "The mask limits you more than I would have thought," he admits. He looks into the future with a clear goal: "My wish would be clearly the promotion to the district league! And I want to get rid of my bad luck," he concludes with a smile. Holzminden is facing a crucial moment - will the team master the challenge and take the next step in the league? The football world is looking forward!
