The Forest Painter: Art and nature combined in Stadtoldendorf!
Stadtoldendorf.Amidst the autumn colors, the new exhibition “From the Heart of the Forest” shines in the Old Town Hall and captivates art lovers. The talented Anna Frenzel, who grew up in idyllic surroundings near the Polish border, presents 18 enchanting paintings that impressively capture the essence of the forest. From spring-fresh beech leaves to delicate bird nests – every motif comes to life in an emotional way!
With her camera, Frenzel not only captures images, but also the soul of the forest. “How can we restore the lost contact with nature?” she urgently asks her audience and invites them to re-experience the timeless connection between humans and nature. Her watercolors are more than just works of art; they are invitations that encourage reflection and appreciation of the beauty of nature. Every brush stroke is designed to touch and make the viewer think.
Experience emotional art
The opening was a complete success, with musical accompaniment by the talented Hein Brüggen, who captivated the visitors with his virtuoso performance. The well-attended opening on a magical autumn day capped the event. The exhibition is open until November 17th and offers the opportunity to immerse yourself in the fascinating world of the forest painter on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. An exception is November 9th, when the exhibition will be closed due to a commemoration of Kristallnacht.
Frenzel's art does not fall into the kitsch trap, but rather conveys clear values and inspires change. With her impressive attention to detail and eye for the special, she invites everyone to rediscover the depths of the forest and appreciate the beauty around us.
