Sarstedt remains unbeaten - Bockenem/Ambergau is still looking for victory!

The Landesliga offered exciting encounters last weekend in which the teams gave everything. Sarstedt continued his winning streak and remains unexpected, while Bockenem/Ambergau is still waiting for the first success.

In the game between SG Bockenem/Ambergau and SV Gehrden, the game ended with a 1-1 draw. Here two teams met who are located in the lower table region. The spectators saw some interesting but also frustrating moments. The fans were particularly excited when Paula Breinig was fouled in the penalty area, but the referee failed to win the penalty whistle. In the 41st minute, the home team managed to take the lead through an impressive corner of Breinig, which Fabienne Leifholz used with a nice degree. Immediately after the kick -off, the defense against Bockenem/Ambergau was disorganized, which gave Paulina Schreiber the opportunity to achieve the compensation.

Bockenem/Ambergau and the missed opportunities

In the second half, the course of the game was initially more balanced, with Gehrden had more possession of the ball, but without developing real goal. Despite some promising attacks, especially in the final phase, Marcel David's team remained without the longed -for victory. They repeatedly demanded a penalty when a handball was not punished after a flank by Leana Palinkas. The two other chances of Tabea Krenauer and Isabell Hinz remained unused, so that the team continues to be without a point win this season.

In contrast, the 1st FC Sarstedt celebrated a deserved 2-1 win at the away game against FC Wacker Neustadt. At the beginning of the game, Sarstedt had difficulty arriving against a defensively well -standing opponent. Although they played out two first -class occasions, Melina Schröder from Wacker Neustadt managed to take the lead in the 8th minute. However, Sarstedt could not be discouraged. In the 27th minute, Sofia Reinicke was fouled in the penalty area, which resulted in a penalty. Reinicke himself took responsibility and certainly converted it to compensate.

The intensive play of the Sarstedter finally paid off in the 35th minute when a corner kick from Elena Reinicke reached her sister Sofia, who again met and brought Sarstedt the lead. In the second half, Sarstedt pushed for the third goal, but found a strong opponent in Fenja Laslavic from Wacker Neustadt who defused several attempts. The encounter remained exciting until the end, but Sarstedt was able to successfully defend the narrow lead and therefore remains without loss of dot.
