Bavenstedt celebrates Derby victory: 1-0 against Newroz Hildesheim!
Bavenstedt, Deutschland - An exciting derby ended with a narrow but deserved 1-0 win for SV Bavenstedt against SV Newroz Hildesheim! The fans cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded and Bavenstedter coach Dennis Kleinschmidt praised his team for an outstanding performance. In front of 650 enthusiastic spectators in the Roleke-Arena, the home side showed an impressive defensive performance and impressively reciprocated for the first leg defeat.
The guests from Hildesheim, who went into play as second in the table, had more possession, but could not make anything countable. "In the last third we weren't consistent enough," said Newroz coach Murat Salar after the game. The lack of playmaker Rezzan Bilmez was particularly painful, which had a negative impact on the game structure. The Bavenstedter, on the other hand, shone with a closed team performance, whereby Abdullah Jankir and Till Franzmann particularly stood out.
The crucial moment
The crucial goal fell in the 70th minute when Sven Reimann played a brilliant pass on Tristan Hein, who skillfully promoted the ball into the net. The cheers knew no limits! In the final phase, Bavenstedt had to tremble again when Newroz player Hamza Ata gave a shot from 14 meters in added time, but it went just over the goal. The victory was perfect, and the Bavenstedter celebrated exuberantly in the clubhouse, where a 1 euro party took place. "The evening goes to me," called Kleinschmidt, proud of his team, who improved to ninth place with this victory, while Newroz slipped into third place.
