In Hildesheim, two selfish drivers pulled the police's attention on Sunday, November 3, 2024 - for the first time! Both men indact a dangerous activity under the influence of alcohol, which led to expensive accidents. The first incident occurred early in the morning, around 6:05 a.m., on Alfelder Strasse in Diekholzen. Here a 21-year-old Renault driver raced into the city at an excessive speed, and finally collided with a parked Seat after driving over a traffic island and demolishing his front wheel. The total damage? A shocking 50,000 euros!

But that's not all! In the evening, at 8:20 p.m., another 43-year-old driver convinced himself from the devastating consequences of his behavior. With his Mercedes he raced on the street on the copper strand and lost control in a right -hand bend before he hit the Wendehammer of the Maschstrasse with full force and demolished a bench and three parked cars. The estimated damage amounts to an incredible 80,000 euros!

In both drivers, the officials did not shy away from the fact that they were under the influence of alcohol. The first traffic offender, the 21-year-old, showed a breath alcohol value of 0.7 per thousand, which resulted in a blood sample and cost him the driver's license. The 43-year-old was even more ruthless and had significantly more intus with 1.3 per thousand-the driver's license was also withdrawn and a blood sample was removed. These two incidents impressively show how alcohol can end in dramatic accidents!
