Helmstedt, Deutschland - in Helmstedt, Lower Saxony, the "Music 21 Festival", which is eagerly awaited, now begins, which transforms the city into a pulsating center of contemporary sounds! The start takes place in the impressive monastery church of St. Marienberg, an 800 -year -old building that has witnessed the diverse transitions in city history.

The artistic director of the festival, Eloain Lovis Hübner, emphasizes the importance of music, which was specially commissioned for the unique conditions of the church. Two talented young composers have created pieces for the neo-baroque and romantic organ, while Hübner himself contributes another work that includes a chest organ. These musical performances promise an unforgettable experience that takes the audience into another world.

Another highlight are the interactive “sound boxes” by the London composer Samuel Loveless, who enable the audience to become active themselves and to experiment with the sound apparatus. The audience will also inspire a musical dance performance in the Helmstedt horse stable, while the ensemble is presented via Nova works by young composers.
