Helmstedterinnen surprise with Bares for Rares with a collection of stamps!
An exciting day for Anke and Grit Rothenberg from Helmstedt! With a handcart full of memories, the two make their way to the "Bares for Rares" studio to sell a special stamp collection. This collection that Grit brought from her school should benefit the students. But the expectations of the two meet a tough reality!
When you express your prize request, the "Bare for Rares" expert Sven Deutschmanek gives the Helmstedter a clear removal. "I don't do that!" He says unmistakably. The stamps that were once used in biology lessons are now getting on in years. Made in the 70s by the company "Heinz Vogel Wilhelmshaven", the boxes are fitted with the sun, and the stamp cushions have dried out. But that doesn't stop Grit and Anke from requesting 80 euros for their set.
an unexpected price increase!
But the dealers are ready to pay more! There is an exciting winner in the dealer room. Esther Ollick starts with 140 euros and is a bitter duel with dealer Daniel Meyer. The tension increases when the bid flows to an incredible 340 euros! Finally, the stamps change the owner for this amount, and Grit can be happy to use the money for their students from the Helmstedter high school.
A day full of surprises and emotions for the couple from Lower Saxony! The stamps that were once part of the lessons turned out to be a real piece of gold. Who would have thought?
