Autumn run in Kirchboitzen: Children and professionals at the start despite the rain!

Kirchboitzen, Deutschland - The 17th Kirchboitzer autumn run was a real highlight despite the cloudy weather conditions and light drizzle, which the participants did not deter. A total of 51 children and adults stormed the starting line and showed impressive sports spirit!

The organizing forces around Dirk Liedtke would have liked more participation in the children, but the mood was excellent. In the youngest (U10), 32 participants were at the start, while 19 older runners plunged into the competition. In order to ensure that the young athletes fall by the wayside, the Rethem police officer Antje took over the important task of driving on the bike as a pilot. The U10 children completed a round of around 800 meters, while the older children went through the course twice.

The rapid results

In the third run, a large field of men and women competed on two distances, 7 and 14 kilometers, and managed a demanding route that led to old people's boars. The return to Kirchboitzen was a challenge because things went uphill. The favorites fulfilled their roles: Daniel Dieckmann from Fallingbostel was over 7,000 meters second, while Dominik Möller from Fulde fought first place over the 14 kilometers.

A look at the list of results shows the outstanding achievements: In the male youth U10, Karol Krosiwinicki from Bomlitz won, while Rieke Zumlauf from Kirchlinteln led the female youth. Constantine Wrigge and Jordi thirty were the fastest over 1,600 meters. In the men over 7,000 meters, Tim Edzards prevailed, followed by Daniel Dieckmann. Mara Soldner won over the same distance from women. The main victory in the 14 kilometer category went to Dominik Möller, supported by the impressive achievements of his colleagues.

The team of Marathon Walsrode triumphed over four times 3.5 kilometers. Both when walking over seven kilometers and in the individual runs, it became clear that the Kirchboitzer autumn run was a complete success and brought together sports enthusiasts of all ages!
