A competition of superlatives
This year over 3,000 nominations for around 600 professors were submitted, which an independent jury chaired by Professor Dr. Ulrich Radtke, the former Vice President of the University Rectors' Conference. The award "Professor of the Year" is not only a prize for good teaching, but also recognizes the extraordinary commitment of the teachers who are at your side in career preparation.
For the Tiho, this is already the third honor in this category. Previously, Professor Dr. Franziska Richter Assêncio and Professor Dr. Madeleine Plötz also top positions. Professor Dr. Holger Volk, an expert in small animal diseases, has made a name for himself through his impressive career and numerous awards, including his international recognition in veterinary neurology.
