Christmas tree throwing in Nordhorn: a special kind of competition!
Next Saturday, December 28th, the city center of Northern Horn is transformed into a true Christmas competition area. The second Grafschaffer Christmas tree throw takes place here, an event that brings teams from bowling clubs, sports teams or simply friends to determine the best throw. The event, in which approximately 1.5 meters tall firs and smaller trees are thrown around for the women, promises exciting disciplines, including wide throw, throwing throw and throwing high. Registrations are possible at baumfricer@brandlecht-hestrup.de. The best thing about it: The starting fees are completely donated to the Schulte family from Quendorf, which gives the competition a charitable note. In addition, the winning team waves a great reward of 20 liters of beer. It is important to mention that the fired trees used are otherwise disposed of, such as reports from the ems-vecht Surfer .
In parallel, the city center of Northern Horn shines in the festive splendor of the Christmas market, which has been attracting visitors since November 25th and lasts until December 24th. Over 50 lovingly decorated stalls offer a variety of handmade products and culinary delights, while numerous attractions, such as the VR experiences in the "Christmas slide", ensure an unforgettable experience. This magical adventure kidnaps visitors to exciting sled trips and fantastic winter landscapes. There are numerous offers, especially for children, including the Christmas fairy tale in the future workshop and the opportunity to decorate Christmas trees, which increases the anticipation for the festival. The Musikschule Nordhorn, which ensured a festive sound at the opening, ensures the background music school, an event that was opened by the Mayor Thomas Berling, as The VVV Nordhorn reported.Details | |
