Neuenhaus, Deutschland - The contemplative Advent season in Neuenhaus is heralded with a spectacular festival! On Thursday before the first weekend in Advent, the square behind the old town hall turns into a festive oasis. From 6:00 p.m., visitors can expect an after-work event that comes up with live music, mulled wine and delicious snacks. Here people can enjoy the magic of the upcoming holidays in a relaxed atmosphere.

But that's just the beginning! In the last week of November, the city is transferred to the Christmas mood with a floating Advent wreath on the Mühlenkolk and festively decorated fir trees, which were lovingly decorated by children. On Saturday, November 30th, the Christmas market in Neuenhaus opens its gates from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. In the atmospherically decorated wooden stalls there are handmade gifts, liqueurs, jams and a variety of Christmas delicacies.

A special highlight awaits the little visitors on Saturday at 6:00 p.m. when Santa Claus comes up with sweet surprises! From 4:00 p.m., the children in the tent can win great prizes while the children's puzzles. There are traditional puzzles for adults from 6:00 p.m. The stage program, which begins on Saturday afternoon at 3:00 p.m., promises a musical festival with traditional and modern Christmas carols, presented by the wind group of the Neuenhaus and Tom Wolf.

On Sunday, the stage program will continue with the Dutch Dameskadt Onmeimidelijk at 3:00 p.m. In addition, the Heimatfreunde Neuenhaus e.V. invite you to the Alte Rathaus, where a film about the traditions of the region is shown. The Lichtblick gallery also opens its doors and presents large-format winter and Christmas pictures from the picturesque county of Bentheim. A special bus pendulum traffic on both days from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
