Customs discovers over 13,000 cigarettes and five kilos of amphetamine in night control!

Göttingen, Deutschland - In a night full of excitement, the Göttingen traffic routes of the Braunschweig main customs office ensured massive drug and cigarette finds. In the night from October 17th to October 18, 2024, the customs officers discovered 68 poles in the trunk of a small Romanian small bus instead of the four rods, a total of 13,480 pieces! The driver, who is confronted with a tax evasion of over 2,500 euros, was displayed and his cigarettes were confiscated.

But that wasn't all! During a further control of a Polish van, the customs officials found five shells with crystalline content hidden in the sleeping area of the vehicle. A quick test brought to light that it was almost five kilograms of amphetamine, possibly crystal meth. The driver was arrested and criminal proceedings were initiated for violating the Narcotics Act.
