Goalkeeper rotation at the 1st SC Göttingen 05: Way into the future?
Goalkeeper rotation at the 1st SC Göttingen 05: Way into the future?
Göttingen. On Sunday at 2:30 p.m. The signs for this exciting duel are promising because both teams have followed a surprisingly similar goalkeeper strategy. Both at Göttingen and Nörten-Hardenberg, the coaches switched between two goalkeepers this season to give them game practice.
The 1st SC Göttingen 05 is proud of his defensive and can look back on an impressive balance: In the last four games, the team stayed without conceding a goal and achieved strong results, including an 8-0 victory against Salzgitter. Coach Jelle Brinkwerth announced that both Fabian Sündram and Yannick Landro Tchuikwa will remain in the goalkeeper to give both players the opportunity to prove themselves. "Both play practice should be able to get and prove themselves," said the trainer, who has a clear goal: a stammer goalkeeper should be determined in the near future.
1. SC Göttingen 05 expects competitive game
But what does the 05 coach expect from tomorrow's game? Brinkwerth expects an intensive and hard -fought match. "It will be a difficult -to -play lawn, which will match this competitive game," he explains. The Nörteners are currently in the table cellar, stranded in a place that they don't earn. "They don't belong there and want to get out there too," says Brinkwerth, who also emphasizes the danger of the opposing offensive. The players Nils Hillemann, Lucas Duymelinck, Silvan Steinhoff and Dennis Zeibig have the potential to set decisive accents.
With four games without defeat, the trainer is optimistic, but he admits that the team occasionally needs too many opportunities to score goals. The failure of striker Gerbi Kaplan is particularly painful, while the use of Raphael Polczyk is still uncertain.
SSV Nörten-Hardenberg: Aron Döhne is fit again
coach Kevin Martin from SSV Nörten-Hardenberg originally also planned a rotation in the goal to grant both its number one and number two playing time. While Nico Kaufmann was used in the first four games, Aron Döhne had to stay in the background due to his vacation. Unfortunately, this brought no success to the SSV, so thoughs came back into the position when he got his chance after the vacation and shone against Petershütte.
After Döhne injured himself last week, former goalkeeper Dominik Hillemann jumps in as a substitute goalkeeper, while Kaufmann continues to be on vacation. For the hot duel against Göttingen, however, Döhne is fit again and ready to support his team. "Aron was able to train all week and will therefore also play," says Martin.
The defeat in the derby against Northeim did not broke the motivation of the SSV. Despite the difficulties, one is determined to concentrate on the defensive stability in order to withstand the potent offensive of SC Göttingen. The violation of central defender Max Schröder, who will be out for a long time due to a broken fibula, turned out to be particularly fatal.
Both trainers are faced with decisive challenges. The game on Sunday not only promises intensive sport, but could also be decisive for the further course of both teams. The Nörteners are determined to end their negative series while the Göttingen will try to continue their solid series.
Another highlight of the Landesliga will also take place on Sunday when the SVG Göttingen receive VfB Fallersleben. Both teams are currently tied and are in direct competition for the front places.
