A hard blow for the community! On Monday evening, November 18, around 6:25 p.m., an 81-year-old Göttingen was the victim of a dangerous traffic accident on Weender Strasse. The elderly woman wanted to cross the street at the pedestrian light Lutteranger/large width when she was captured by a ruthless driver of a white BMW, who placed in the next street without stopping.

While the lady fell on the street and injured himself, the supposed driver was not ready to help. Instead, he raced in the direction of Lutteranger/B3 as if nothing had happened! Fortunately, two passers -by showed civil courage. They noticed the accident, stopped briefly and hurried to the injured woman. However, this first rejected the support offered and, danning and injured, continued their way to a nearby bus stop. But the drama was not over yet: an attentive passenger saw the bleeding injuries of the elderly woman and immediately alerted the police and emergency services.

The 81-year-old was taken to the Göttingen hospital, where her injuries were treated.
