On Saturday, November 11, 2024, Göttingen experienced a shock when unknown perpetrators hung several posters with massive violent content in the urban area. Passers -by discovered the controversial notices that shaped the shocking saying "Bambi Shooten Back", accompagnied by a threatening representation against a person. These alarming finds led to the local authorities' actions that immediately informed the police.

investigators who worked in the area of the Bürgerstrasse and beyond that came across a total of three such poster areas. The police suspect that there could be other posters in Göttingen. The investigations are ongoing, while the city administration has already been commissioned to quickly remove the incriminated notices. The Storage Protection Commissioner has taken up the investigation into suspected distribution of deprivation of violence in connection with insults (§§ 131, 185 Criminal Code).
