Göttingen shines: 11th place in the customer satisfaction ranking!

Göttingen, Deutschland - Göttingen. Göttingen has won the proud 11th place among 131 cities in the area of "customer satisfaction" in a sensational ranking! In this comprehensive survey of the “MF Consulting” market research institute, 900 buyers were interviewed and the result is an impressive 87.8 percent degree of satisfaction in relation to “friendliness”. This is a real sign of satisfaction in the over 80 companies from nine industries examined!

The survey, which took place in September 2024, showed that Göttingen citizens are extremely satisfied with the service offer on site. Customers were asked about various criteria such as advice quality, price-performance ratio and especially friendliness. "This is a very gratifying result in the context of a long, but almost always positive development," says Marc Loibl, who presented the ranking. In particular, the jewelers and electrical transactions have recorded the highest growth in the quality of advice when assessing the customer.

While Göttingen shines, the cities of Kassel and Hildesheim have not cut off well - they are in the back places 126 and 123 of the ranking! An inner city pharmacy in Göttingen received the best values with breathtaking 95.1 percent satisfaction, while some shops only achieved slight 70.3 percent. The results show a clear gap in satisfaction: While the older consumers- especially pensioners- are above average, the younger users, especially 26 to 35 year olds, are often significantly more critical. Göttingen thus stands out from the competition!
