Triumph for Tom Schellekens: Victory at CSI3* in Kiel with Chella II!

In a gripping competition at CSI3* Kielstra Kraanverhuur Prize, Dutch rider Tom Schellekens triumphed with his nine-year-old mare Chella II de Laubry Z (by Casalito) and secured first place with an impressive time of 50.45 seconds. The event took place in Friesland and the tension was tangible when the best riders in the Netherlands competed against each other.

In second place, Marriët Smit-Hoekstra came with her seven-year-old mare Maggie May (by VDL Zirocco Blue), which finished 50.99 seconds. Marriët, who appreciates the Grand Prize of Indoor Friesland more than an Olympic participation, was overjoyed by her performance. “We hadn't planned to fight prizes, and yet we reached second place twice and once the sixth place - that's just fantastic!”

a horse with potential

Maggie May, who is bred by Bart and Pieter Henstra and owned, only fought a few competitions in her young career. Marriët immediately noticed the potential of the horse when she took over six months ago. "After only two weeks with me I saw that she could be the successor of Duco. She is a wonderful horse that never gives up!"

The anticipation for the upcoming competitions is great: "I will now ride the Horses2fly Super Finale. It's really fun and I'm really looking forward to the great price!"
