East Frisia 2025: Sports events lure thousands of spectators into the country!

Ostfriesland plans a number of important sports events for 2025 that will attract athletes and spectators from the region. The events cover various sports and offer a variety of ways to participate.

The East Frisian athletics championships in the hall, which take place on January 11th and are aimed at children and adolescents, are among the highlights. In February the East Frisian gymnastics show on February 22nd will be carried out for the tenth time with the motto "Movement Reder". In April the football game between Kickers Emden and VfB Lübeck is expected on April 25, followed by the Ossiloop, which begins on April 29 and ends on May 16 in Bensersiel.
