Christmas market in Twistringen: mulled wine, snow and bright children's eyes!
The anticipation of the contemplative time increases! In Twistringen the Christmas market is celebrated on November 30th and December 1st, and the question of whether the snow returns from last year is in the air. An unforgettable experience is promised with festive lights, mulled wine and delicious gingerbread!
The Christmas market will take place on Saturday, November 30th, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Sunday, December 1st, from 2pm to 6pm. Last year, around 2,000 visitors flocked to Centralplatz, and the organizers of Kurt (culture & entertainment in the Twistringen area) hope for even more guests. The move from the traditional location at the St. Anna Church to Centralplatz has proven itself, especially because of the improved conditions for electronics, which had caused problems in previous years.
a festival for all senses
The program for the Christmas market is diverse and offers something for every taste. A total of 17 stands will be represented, including the youth fire brigade with children's punch, the Evangelical Church with a hearty knipp and the fishing club served the flame salmon. The estate (Community of the Entrepreneurs in Twistringen) is again part of the game and bakes delicious waffles. Gastronomy Janni Iqbal provides lovers of bratwurst and fries. The city's mulled wine booth and the Catholic Church offer coffee and cake - a real festival for the delicacies!
The cultural highlights should also not be missing: the school choir of the primary school on the market will appear on Saturday, while on Sunday the Twistringer wind orchestra ensures musical entertainment. There is a free carousel for the little visitors, which will provide bright children's eyes. A Christmas market that touches not only the senses, but also the hearts!
