Animals and cheers: Sulingen celebrates 75 years of youth group at Poultry Show!

Breslauer Straße, 27232 Sulingen, Deutschland - Sulingen is standing ago! The poultry breeding association from 1896 invites visitors to the Heinrich Focke-Memorial show in the Schützenhalle on Breslauer Strasse on October 26 and 27. A special highlight: the youth group at their 75th anniversary! This is not only a festival for the breeders, but also an honor for the youngest who learn the art of poultry breeding with a lot of passion and commitment.

The roots of the youth group go back to September 20, 1949 when it was launched by Eduard Laue and Gustav Hain. Today, the group has nine members aged two to 17 that immerse themselves in the fascinating world of breeding. Under the direction of Tim Duffe, the young people benefit from the help of their parents and grandparents, while new breeders also get a chance to enter this special group. The dwarfwyandots are considered ideal breed for beginners - trusting and not very demanding, as Duffe explains.

Approximately over 5,000 animals from 54 breeders from all over Germany are presented, including four aspiring talents from the domestic youth group. The competition begins on Friday when the breeding judges examine the animals. The exhibition opens for the general public on Saturday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The tension will end on Sunday at 1 p.m.

In addition to the spectacular animal exhibition, the women of the association take care of the physical well -being of the guests and invite you to take part in a raffle, in which many great prizes for the lucky wait. Don't forget to experience the history of the youth group up close at the festive opening of the exhibition and to get a T-shirt as a souvenir!
