Refurbishment of the Labbus mill: City of Sulingen secures a subsidy of 10,000 euros
Refurbishment of the Labbus mill: City of Sulingen secures a subsidy of 10,000 euros
The Labbus mill is facing an exciting transformation! A whopping 10,000 euros flow from the city sack of Sulingen for urgently needed renovation work. The city council approved this grant in its most recent session, and that is just the beginning! A total of an impressive 83,000 euros are estimated for the comprehensive renovation, which will decisively influence the duration of the mill renovation.
Financing the renovation
The financing of this ambitious renovation measure is a real feat. Around 34,500 euros come from leader funding, while the Bingo Environment Foundation contributes an impressive 20,000 euros. Even the mill operators bring 8,000 euros and various personal contributions to the balance - and all of this to catapult the Labbus mill into the 21st century! However, despite this generous support, a financing gap of 8,000 euros remains. The mill renovation remains a hot iron - and the mill friends are excited to see where the remaining means will come from!
The planned measures are not only practical, but also symbolic. A new lightning protection system and a modern distribution of electrical distribution are on the list of necessary work that will not only give the mill more security, but also a fresh appearance. With the great commitment of the city and the various funding agencies, the Labbus mill has the chance to develop into a radiant landmark in Sulingen - and without a cent from the citizens' sports blend!
